"Thank you for this video! I have literally had my equiband for a year and I was so worried about it being too tight for my PSSM mare that I barely tightened it after trying the 50% and being like "No way this is right!!!" because it was SO unbelievably tight. Then I was so overwhelmed about if I was doing too much or too little that I gave up on it. I'm going to try again now! Thank you!"
"Thank you for doing a fair review! I've literally been trying to find the right tool to help me balance the way one of horses uses his body & the way described how your horse used his body sounds JUST like my boy! He definitely is one who needs to have it be “his idea” on how to use his body better 😂 Thank you once again! I'm a new subscriber but LOVING your honesty in your vlogs! Cant wait to watch more 🙂👍"
"Hi Alyssa, what an informative, well- structured video. I only recently got interested in the Equiband when I heard that a trainer/vet who comes to our barn to rehabilitate horses uses it. To be precise, she helped develop the Equiband...Using your training and heeding your warning: do not overdo!...Best regards and thank you for all your time and effort."

At 18 years old, fresh out of high school and headed into her first year of college, Alyssa made a decision that most people would have called impossible. She bet everything on horses.
No safety net, no blueprint, just a deeply stubborn love for the sport and a refusal to let the dream die because the bank account said otherwise.
That same all-in energy is what carried her from scraping together every dollar to competing at the CCI3*** level, and what kept her going when her horse Fuego suffered a career-threatening tendon injury that could have ended it all.
Spoiler: it didn't. They came back, placed 4th at CCI3*S, and haven't looked back since. 🤠
That journey taught Alyssa more about horse fitness, rehab, partnership, and the mental game of riding than any clinic ever could, and now she packages all of it into resources that actually work for everyday equestrians.
Whether you're trying to build a stronger horse, quiet the nerves, or figure out why nothing seems to be clicking, you're in the right place.

What do you think about while you compete? Does it help or hurt your performance?
