As a teenager, I faced a life-altering challenge when I was unexpectedly cut off financially by my family. Determined to continue pursuing my passion for horses, I made the decision to support myself. Despite owing thousands of dollars at a young age, I asked myself a pivotal question: To be an equestrian or not to be an equestrian?  I chose to be—and that choice has defined my journey for over 15 years.

In 2020, when my horse, Fuego, suffered an injury, I encountered a new wave of financial and emotional struggles. This adversity forced me to rethink how to thrive in the equestrian world. That journey inspired me to create the Equi-Course Bootcamp, an online resource that empowers riders with tools and strategies for rehabilitating and conditioning their horses, born from my own experience with Fuego's recovery. Many years later I have created countless online resources both paid and free to cultivate an audience and grow my business.

In 2022, Fuego made a triumphant return to competition, placing 4th in a CCI3*** event—the highest level we’ve ever competed. I was also named the Adult Amateur Reserve Champion at the Intermediate level in my region.

Now, we’re reaching for even greater heights. My goal is to compete at the Advanced level and beyond, showcasing the perseverance and determination that defines my story. With Fuego and an up-and-coming young prospect, I am committed to inspiring others and proving that even the most challenging paths can lead to success.
